In the eight years since he began performing as RECLAIM, Rohan Sable has grown from an ambitious young talent into one of the most innovative voices in India’s thriving Techno scene. By embracing the dark, psychedelic side of the genre, he has carved out a unique niche that has been embraced across the country. Now, as he releases his most compelling music to date, RECLAIM is showing that he is ready to reach new heights.

Rohan was born in Pune, India, where he spent his early days eagerly soaking up any electronic music he could find. He studied music at the School of Audio Engineering, Mumbai, before officially launching his career as a member of the duo Oozeundat. While the duo found some early success, it wasn’t until he set out on a solo career that Rohan began to realise his potential.

In 2017, he began using the moniker RECLAIM. His Debut EP ‘Cubric’ reached #67 on Beatport Top 100 DeepTech/Minimal Releases, announcing the arrival of a promising new talent. From there, RECLAIM steadily grew in stature, eventually performing at prominent events including Supersonic, Sunburn, District, EVC, Cntrl Alt Dance, Moon Rabbit, Go Madras and Krank. He also maintained a steady schedule of releases, being featured on labels including Soupherb Records, Subios Records, and Music4Aliens.

In 2020, Rohan teamed up with longtime friend Uddhav to create SUBTRAIL, a platform promoting minimal/psychedelic/hypnotic techno. The new label was met with immediate success, releasing several well received tracks in the form of three VAs. In mid 2021, the highly acclaimed debut EP on Subtrail was released which was a collaborative effort between Reclaim and his friend Folic State with remixes from the founder Uddhav and 2 other international acts, HC Kurtz and Malek Ales. This paved the way ahead for Subtrail, establishing it as a solid Indian techno label.

Rohan has achieved his success the old fashioned way, putting his head down and working to reach goal after goal. It is an attitude that continues to serve him well to this day. With several new projects in the works for the coming years, Rohan has positioned himself as a vital voice in electronic music.
