Sid Praja is a DJ/Producer and curator hailing from Jodhpur, India. He started his DJing journey when he moved to England in May 2014. A self-taught DJ and producer, Sid’s emotive musical selections serve as his own therapy. He incorporates various styles and genres into his DJ sets, focusing on Acid, House, Breaks, Techno, and Hip-Hop, with a wide range of experience in Afro and Disco.

Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and fuses together all the pieces of his diverse musical influences, conveying a beautiful storyline through his DJ sets. His foray into DJing began with house parties and impromptu gatherings, which over the years transformed into regularly playing at some of the finest nightlife venues in the country and overseas.

Sid Praja has also performed at some of the best clubs in London and Canterbury, United Kingdom, where his eclectic sets received a warm response from the audience, who praised them as:
"Beautiful set, banging, mixed different varieties in the set with some very smooth transitions and beautiful storytelling."

After returning to his homeland a couple of years ago, he has played alongside renowned names in the Indian music industry such as Arjun Vagale, Kohra, dotdat, Monophonik, Likwid, Sickflip, Anyasa, Kayan, Zokhuma, Ox7gen, Deepbrown, Anushka, Audio Units, Murthovic, FILM, and BLOT!. He also played a closing set for one-third of Hessle Audio, Pangaea, who personally praised him for his performance. Additionally, Berlin-based DJ/Producer Robert Dietz invited him for an extended B2B session.

Notably, Sid has also performed opening sets for Seedhe Maut and Prabh Deep, showcasing his skills with old-school Hip-Hop music. He recently performed at the Grassland Carnival music festival in Nepal, alongside Bluetoof, Magma Boys, Malik, Dualist Inquiry, and others.

Sid released his debut EP, Krystle, on November 17, 2024, via the reputable Karachi-based label Cape Monze Records. The EP has received support from legendary names such as Doctor Jeep, Tomoki Tamura, Beatrice M., Amor Satyr, Polygonia, Miley Serious, Buckley, Yas Réven, Riva, Rigson, FILM, and many more.

Currently residing in Jaipur, Sid Praja is an integral part of the underground club culture in the city, hosting top talents at his monthly residency called DUI. Previously, he served as the resident DJ for one of Jaipur's leading nightlife venues, Club Trove/Sambre, for three years.
